Life is a Journey

Happy Monday!.

I created this inverted canvas from a canvas that I had tried to do several designs. However, it just never worked out. So today, I covered the canvas that was stenciled and painted with a Prima Nautical which was used for the back and the side. The sides of all the paper and distressed.  I used my goodies from my new Monthly Crafteezee Collection Life is a Journey.  To complete my design I used a Magnolia Doo Hickey Die, Magnolia Post Card Stamp, Blue Frantage, diluted Gesso, Antique Bronze Vintage Anchor and Antique Vintage Seam Binding Blue.

Spring Flowers

Happy Monday!

I have some many exciting things going on right now. I will be able to share a couple with you in a few weeks. I will share that I am going to visit my grandson in Panama for his second birthday. I can't believe he is two. Time just flies by! He is just so sweet I can't wait to spend lots of quality time with him.

Now on to my new card for the week. I really struggle with arranging flowers but I am very happy with the way this arrangement turned out. I don not use purple very often but this bird just seemed to fit with these gorgeous purple and white flowers. Many of the items are from my March Elegant Ladies Craftzee Collection. The kit contained lots of heart embellishments! Love!!!!

Again I used my new favorite Fantasy Die Cuts. If you haven't tried them yet you are definitely missing out on some beautiful dies. The center chipboard piece is from Scrapenic.  The other die cuts are from Magnolia Doo Hickey and Susan Wilson.

Have a great week!

Bunny Magic

Boy it sure is cold in Florida! Yesterday, at 11:00am it was 44 degrees and today it is chillier. But I guess I should be thankful that we don't have any of that white stuff to deal with.....LOL...

Today I would like to share my card that I used a Wild Rose Studio Bunny Ballerina Stamp. She is just the sweetest image. I colored her with Copic markers, cut her out and then popped her up on the card with foam mounting tape.  The paper is from Lemoncraft.

I used my new Fantasy die cuts from Noor Design Rose Leaf, Curly Saffron 2, and Pearl Twig. Some of the flowers are from my Crafteeze October Monthly kit and an English Rose. I add a piece of Scrapenic chipboard from the Lavender Mist collection.

My favorite element in the card is the lace Desiree. It makes the ballerina's skirt come to life with all the tulle just floating on the bottom of the card.

Best Friends

I would like to share a card I made over the weekend using Pion's paper "Where the Roses Grow" and paper from my Crafteeze Elegance collection kit. The kit came with a beautiful pack of paper, the lace, flowers, resin piece and more. I recently purchased the new Fantasy dies -String of Pearls and Stamens, Curly Saffron 2, and Curly Fern. These dies are gorgeous and so famine. I just LOVE them.
The chipboard is from Scrapenic the Lavender Mist collection. Oh so pretty if you have a flower garden these are a definite must. I used a paint brush and splattered several Prima Bloom Sprays on the photo  to add a little color and background.

So if you haven't yet check out Noor Design. You won't be disappointed.  Thanks for stopping by!

The Sweet Songs of Spring

Happy Wednesday!

It's another beautiful sunny day. I love spring. The birds are so active and busy right now. I love listening to them early in the morning.

Today I would like to share a tag I made using Pion Songbird paper. To create my card I used images from the paper such as the bird, birdhouse and license plate to create my design. That is the one thing I love about this paper if you don't have a lot of embellishments you can create them with all the tags, sentiments and more that come with the paper.

The birdhouse is chipboard from Scrapenic and I gave it one light coat of white gesso. I took white vintage seam binding and sprayed it with Prima Bloom spray. It is great to have the sprays on hand they are great for ribbon, flowers, canvas, etc. Then I used some soft feathers, flowers and pearl trim to complete my design. The small pearl dots around my tag I created using liquid pearls. I love to fussy cut and add special details to my projects. You can get these yummy goodies at Noor Design. It is so hard to choose what to purchase when you are at this store. So many laces, pretty bling and a whole lot more. So when you have a moment go check them out!

Today I would like to share my canvas I created using my Art Deco Kit from Crafteeze collection. I know I am really behind in crafting. But there are still more available at Noor Design. From this kit I used the beautiful paper, black flower, the gorgeous black pin and the tag that says my love. Oh and I still have lots more in the kit to create more gorgeous cards or projects. Other products from the store are Prima Bloom Sprays and Scrapenic Chipboard.

Spring has Arrived in Florida

Yes, spring is here! Every morning the birds are singing so sweetly. I open the doors so that I can hear them.

I have had this bird cage for quite some time and I was inspired to create a project using the Pion Paper "Song Bird', beautiful and elegant paper. I painted the bird cage with Prima Steam Punk acrylic paint then to soften the look I used Prima's new was Vintage Silk. Inside the birdcage I used an older Prima resin frame which I painted with the new Sparks Paint Unicorn's Hair. To bring out the detail in the frame I used Artisan Powder Parthenay then rubbed a little Vintage Silk Waxed, lastly I added pearls.

The background of the cage was covered Pion "Song Bird Paper". I fussy cut the bird from the paper, added some flowers and used a Cheery Lynn flourish die cut. The floor of the cage was covered with dried moss and the bird nest was added.

On the outside of the cage was embellished with flowers, moss, ribbon, butterflies and feathers.

Here is a closer look inside the cage.

All the beautiful laces, pearls, heart chipboard, berries,  flowers and lace beautiful butterfly were purchased from Noor Design. Tracy has so many beautiful, elegant embellishments.

The die cuts on my card are a Cheery Lynn Doily Heart, Cheery Lynn Flourish and a Memory Box dangling hearts. I distressed and inked the edges of my card, added art sugar to the chipboard piece and a little frantage.
